Mustafa Bosh then introduces the strategy’s 2030 vision of a cohesive and stable Darfur governed through an inclusive local social contract and capable civil institutions. He also presents the five measurable strategic objectives: reducing violent conflicts by 50%; increasing inter-community trust by 40%; achieving at least 35% representation of women, youth, and marginalized groups in local governance and peace mechanisms; sustainably reintegrating 60% of returning IDPs and refugees; and establishing effective civilian mediation mechanisms in 100% of Darfur localities.
